He grew up in the little town of Thorp, Wisconsin, and now makes his home in the Central Wisconsin area. In his spare time, he enjoys music, sports and coaching football. With roots in Wisconsin, Marshall Pierce first went on the air at age fifteen in Lake Geneva. Since, then, he’s most loved working for country music radio stations from Chicago to Seattle, including WBCS and FM-106 in Milwaukee. Finally coming back home to central Wisconsin, where he first arrived in 1980 to work at WSPT’s sister station, WXYQ, 'The Marshall,' sincerely loves Stevens Point and playing the country legends he once played when they were first new songs. Country music is Marshall's passion, having lived in the Tennessee mountains for over a decade, as he genuinely loves his listeners and being on the radio. Marshall believes being on the air at B-104.9, "beats working for a living!" Take a listen, you’ll see it’s true! You’ll hear it in his voice!
